Centipawn
The unit of a chess evaluation: 100 centipawns is one pawn of advantage.
Stockfish reports its evaluation in centipawns (cp). +100 means White is a pawn better in the engine's judgement; −250 means Black is two and a half pawns better. The number is from White's point of view in this API regardless of who is to move. Because modern engines (NNUE) scale scores so that +100 is roughly a 50% expected score advantage, treat the sign and rough magnitude as meaningful, not the second digit.
